Against a backdrop of supportive faculty, peers, and proud family members, the annual Arts & Sciences Awards event celebrated academic excellence, leadership, and community engagement among students.

"Just looking at some of the A’s in Arts & Science (Anthropology, Archaeology, Art, Astronomy) and some of the S’s (Sociology, Social Work, Statistics, Spanish), you get a sense of how many areas of learning there are available to our students,"  remarked  Arts & Science, Dean Debbie Hlady, "and how that diversity makes us an academic community of strong, reasoned, critically thinking, and  accepting people who will go out into the world beyond Camosun and be good global citizens."

89 awards, totaling $85,000 were given out, made possible through the generosity of our many donors. Local companies and individuals, through the 91AV Foundation, contribute financially to reward student excellence and see students’ academic and career dreams realized. Each recipient received a certificate, underscoring the significance of persistence and passion in achieving personal and academic success. The ceremony concluded with a sense of pride and motivation, encouraging students to continue excelling in their academic journeys and beyond.

Congratulations on your achievements

We are grateful to our donors for their generosity and continued support to the School of Arts & Science and recognize the important work done by the Camosun Foundation in support of students.
